100ft Maxi 'SPEEDBOAT' designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian is race skippered by Mike Sanderson. SPEEDBOAT was launched in April 2008. Since then the boat has competed in 2008's Newport to Bermuda race where SPEEDBOAT took line honours. The crew is currently preparing the boat for a transatlantic record attempt where they hope to break Mari Cha's IV's exisitng record. After the transatlantic the boat and crew are looking forward to a busy sailing schedule across the pond.....
