Mike reunited with Team Sanya race boat

At 1800 this evening, Wednesday 30th November, the Team Sanya race boat completed its trip from Spain to Cape Town and was lifted off the barge and placed on the dock at the Team Sanya base. See photos attached of the exciting operation and once again a huge thanks to Volvo Trucks and Maersk Line for all their help in making this happen - we could not have done it without you!

Now the repair process starts. The damaged section of hull will be cut out tonight and tomorrow and a mylar pattern of the section will be created. This will be taken to Jaz Marine boatyard where the new section is ready and waiting and will then be cut to fit before being brought to the team base for the fitting to begin.
